YES we initiated this event last year and the inaugural event was attended by 1107 people from across Masterton and a small number from Carterton. The focus is on family fun and activity. We offer a variety of activities provided by the social service organisations across Wairarapa who choose to participate, free food and loads of prizes and giveaways. After families have enjoyed the activities in the stadium they can enter the indoor pool for a free swim. Activities range from facials for mum, playdough for littlies, read a book to a child from Literacy Wairarapa with books to give away, food tasting from a number of groups emphasising healthy food options easy to cook. Sustainable living activities - ie. how to reduce your power account.
It's a great opportunity to interact with families, no cost to participate and everyone has fun.
